I have learned that the faster you embrace each season of your life, the faster God takes you to the next. It’s not merely going through the motions of life. I’m talking about a bold surrender to the Lord.

What does that mean? It means embracing everything that the season you’re in brings, and partnering with God in the journey. It’s allowing God to expose your own heart to you and allowing Him to mold it like His. It requires deliberate obedience to His Word and actively seeking Him. It’s holding on to nothing–our own hopes, dreams, fears, and whatever we feel is right. It’s holding on to His Word and the assurance that God is with us. It’s really coming to a place where we possess nothing of our own desires.

When we are empty, God becomes our everything. When He becomes our everything we give Him the opportunity to fulfill HIS hopes and dreams for us, which are always bigger than ours. His love is perfected and we become fearless. There is fullness of joy. All you have to do is yield.

Whatever season you’re in, blessing or pruning, embrace it fully! Boldly surrender.

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
