One of my favorite things to do every beginning of the year, since getting married, is to look back on our wedding day. Fidel and I got married on January 4, 2015, and February is, of course, the love month. So these first two months of the year, I love looking at our wedding photos, and even our wedding videos. It makes me feel like a new bride all over again. Haha! Also, though I am not a big planner of events, I enjoyed planning this wedding. I guess, every bride feels this way, right?! Hahaha! #FidelSonjiaForever: The Onsite Video
K, Thanks! <3
My husband and I were both excited when we got the invitation to K By Cunanan’s Thanksgiving Dinner. It’s their annual event where they invite clients within the past year, as well as suppliers and friends in the wedding and events industry.

#FidelSonjiaForever: The Proposal
On May 31, 2014, Fidel asked me to marry him. What I thought would be a celebration for Fidel’s dad’s promotion turned out to be a different celebration. Here’s a video made by Parkway Video Production House (Thanks BD and Russell!) to document the whole thing–from him buying flowers, to asking a guy at a salon if he could cut in for a haircut, to him kneeling down on one knee, and my not so flattering “Yes!” Included, are also those people working out during the proposal! Hahahaha! Thank you also to Themes & Motifs for featuring Fidel’s proposal on your latest Inspirations for Weddings magazine issue. Thank you to our dear family and friends for making this such a memorable day for the both of us! To God be all the glory!
Matters of Engagement

Fidel looks at me with a smile on his face as he playfully holds three of his fingers up. I stare at him with confusion, until he finally blurts out, “Three months to go before we get married!” We both briefly laugh, and sigh in joyful anticipation. It has been quite a season for the two of us, that’s filled with invaluable lessons. What we build together at this time will be carried on to our marriage. Here are a few things we’ve learned, so far, that matter not only now, but in every season of our lives.
